Then I started to play and i could see that VRR was working as the FPS varied around the 120fps mark with occasional drops. To check everything was working I turned on the FPS counter on the monitor before playing. From here I went back into the XBox settings and turned VRR on. Then I started Cold War, went in to settings and checked under display that 120hz option is enabled and greyed out.
